Yoza: The Music

One of Yoza’s most recent releases is “Problems,” another self-produced track released in 2021. The song blends elements of rock, trap, emo, and other genres, with Yoza singing throughout. The song’s album art depicts the artist driving a sports car with the police hot on his tail. The lyrics touch on themes of discontentment in a relationship.” Another 2021 release, “Graduated,” was featured on the compilation Prom in Hell from Audio Chateau. The track features Sueco, another TikTok star known for his tongue-in-cheek style, as well as for creating the viral hit “Fast.” The lyrics for “Graduated” focus on reaching new heights of success and laughing in the face of anyone who said that the artists couldn’t. “Run For Cover,” another track from Prom in Hell, is a mellow, guitar-driven track about a dysfunctional relationship. The song’s anthemic chorus is punctuated by trap high hats and a reverb-soaked snare. Yoza’s voice shines on the song, showing listeners that the Texas native is fully capable of being a radio-ready pop singer. “We’ll Be Good,” released in 2020, has a more R&B feel than Yoza’s more recent releases.
